Course content
Students study 3 units of work that cover parts of the national curriculum.
- Saving the Planet - includes heat transfers, changes of state, sustainable development and climate change
- Egypt - includes the particle model of matter, chemical reactions.
- Life under the microscope - includes variation and survival, behaviour.
During the spring term all Y9 students will start working towards an award in the BTEC Applied Science group of qualifications.
