Modern Foreign Languages - Year 8

French

Students progress on to Mission Française 2 and start to work on more extended activities such as a study of a French town or French speaking country. Homework is set once weekly and consists of a writing or a learning task. We are also corresponding with partner schools in Lannion and Rennes.

Spanish

Students of Spanish progress on to the Mira Express 2 textbooks. They are encouraged to do extended work also such as a study of a Spanish speaking country or city in Spain. Homework is set once weekly and consists of a writing or learning task. We have links with schools in Barcelona and students can correspond with students there too. We also link up with our French and Spanish link schools via video-link.
