Coursework (40%)
Students will produce a comparative essay exploring links between literary texts. They are permitted to produce drafts and improve their work before final submission.
Exam (60%) 1 hour 30mins.
Section A: Unseen poetry (35 marks)
Students will be presented with a previously unseen poem and will be asked to write a response to the ideas in the text.
Section B: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (40 marks)
Students will be required to produce one essay on the novel, exploring theme, character or writer's craft.
